Partituras de Aram Khachaturian
Aram Khachaturian, también deletreado Khachaturian / Khachaturian (*6 de junio de 1903 en Tiflis, † 1 de mayo de 1978 en Moscú), fue un compositor armenio que se considera parte del patrimonio cultural soviético debido a la afiliación de Armenia a la URSS en aquella época. No obstante, la música de Khachaturian está fuertemente influenciada por la música folclórica armenio-georgiana y caucásica.
El estilo inconfundible de Khachaturian transporta incluso a los niños en las clases de piano a un mundo colorido, emocionantemente extraño y, sin embargo, melodioso, fácilmente accesible incluso para los principiantes. He aquí, por ejemplo, el Andantino, también conocido como »Ivan canta« de la Kinderalbum Band 1: Bilder der Kindheit, se menciona: Una sencilla melodía en menor, omitiendo el séptimo grado en la mano derecha (aquí la afiliación a una determinada familia menor queda abierta), terceras cromáticamente descendentes mientras se altera el segundo grado un semitono hacia abajo en la mano izquierda permiten evitar la habitual categorización en mayor y menor, ›alegre‹ y ›serio‹ parecen relativas; más bien, uno se familiariza con un mundo armónico intermedio que, sin duda, está fuertemente caracterizado por el melodicismo de Europa del Este, pero también revela ecos del impresionismo francés y crea espacio para la imaginación y la interpretación.
Otras 14 obras para piano, tres ballets, 13 suites orquestales y otras siete obras orquestales (marchas), 11 sinfonías, seis conciertos para orquesta e instrumento solista, 13 composiciones de música de cámara, 34 canciones, 6 obras corales y otras siete composiciones para coro o voz y orquesta componen el &Olig;uvre de Khachaturian. También hay 32 partituras para teatro y cine.
Por si fuera poco, algunas de sus melodías han sido extraídas de diversas obras y adaptadas para películas de cine, series de televisión (la Adagio, un pas des deux entre Espartaco y Frigia del tercer acto del ballet Espartaco, se convirtió en el tema musical de la serie británica The Onedin Line) y clips publicitarios.
Todo ello convierte a Khachaturian, sin lugar a dudas, en el compositor armenio más importante del siglo XX.
