Un viaje musical alrededor del mundo con partituras de Jacob de Haan
Jacob de Haan (nacido el 28 de marzo de 1959 en Heerenveen, Países Bajos) se ha hecho un nombre con un gran número de arreglos y composiciones pegadizas para orquesta sinfónica de viento y obras vocales con orquesta de viento y solistas.
El galardonado Jacob de Haan (Buma Classical Award y Buma Wind Music Award) es cornetista, fliscornista, organista, músico de escuela y popular director invitado para interpretaciones de sus propias obras y un solicitado miembro del jurado en concursos internacionales.
Las clases magistrales (en Alemania, en la Academia de Música de Baviera y en la Academia Federal de Educación Musical Juvenil de Trossingen) completan la cartera de Jacob de Haan.
La Œuvre de Jacob de Haan comprende unas 70 composiciones para orquesta sinfónica de viento. Entre ellas se encuentran también algunas obras sacras para orquesta de viento, coro y solistas.

¡Sí! The Book of Urizen es una composición para orquesta de viento, voz (soprano) y voz hablante (masculina), en la que se transmiten mensajes religiosos a través de collages sonoros. La fuente de inspiración fue el ciclo de poemas homónimo del gran poeta y pintor inglés William Blake, en el que tematiza los fundamentos de todas las religiones a partir de los libros del Antiguo Testamento. Los poemas constituyen la guía musical de la música de Jacob de Haan. La obra consta de dos composiciones: La Visión y La Creación. El Libro de Urizen es una composición fascinante que cautivará a músicos y público por igual.„Como músico de escuela, ¿Jacob de Haan también sacó una clase de viento?“

„First Class - On Tour“ fue, al igual que „First Class - In Concert“, compuesta por Jacob de Haan.En esta ocasión, la música lleva al público a países tan diversos como América, Egipto, Portugal, Dinamarca, Zimbabue, Estados Unidos, Turquía, Brasil, Grecia y muchos más. La breve introducción, la Bienvenida, puede combinarse con cualquiera de estas piezas o funcionar como primer movimiento de una suite de composición propia. - „Horen, lezen & spelen - Trioboek“ (Volúmenes 1 y 2, en neerlandés)
La serie „First Class“ ofrece infinitas posibilidades para tocar juntos gracias a su concepto especial. La forma en que están dispuestos los instrumentos permite tocar juntos con dos o más instrumentos iguales o diferentes. Si es necesario, se pueden añadir instrumentos de percusión al conjunto. El principio es muy sencillo: se ven los instrumentos disponibles y se seleccionan los cuadernos de partes de la lista correspondiente.
„In Concert“ es la primera colección de la serie „First Class“. Las doce piezas, muy diferentes entre sí, están escritas en el nivel de dificultad más fácil. Tras unos pocos meses de experiencia tocando, los músicos más jóvenes serán capaces de hacer música juntos con un gran sonido.
Jacob de Haan ha trabajado en este libro de entrenamiento para varios tríos de viento junto con el compositor belga André Waignein. La edición de esta serie corre a cargo de Michiel Oldenkamp, responsable también de las otras escuelas de banda de viento en alemán „Hören, Lesen & Spielen“ de nuestra tienda web.
