This adagio is the theme from the 2nd movement of Mozart's concerto for clarinet and orchestra (K622), his last instrumental work completed before his death. The music remains popular and has been used on the soundtracks of movies such as 'Out of Africa' and 'Green Card. ' Malcolm Wilson's arrangement is an easy to realize setting for 2-3 octaves of handbells or handchimes.
