Habla la Marimba was composed in London in April 2003. It belongs to the opera El Arbol de los Pajaros. A fragment of that opera consists of thirty pieces for soloists that are played simultaneously in different places of a museum, industrial site, mansion or any other public space. The audience walk around, get into the spirit of the libretto in a space that reflects the architecture of the musical work. The solo pieces repeat themselves for as long as the theatrical action allows.
