Recorded on John Fedchock's New York Big Band recording No Nonsense. Eleven Nights is a medium bossa with contemporary harmonies, evoking images of softer Latin works by Herbie Hancock. Featuring a solo trombone melody along with improvised solos for flute and flugelhorn, the piece contains sophisticated undertones, rich ensemble voicing's and culminates with a dynamic ensemble chorus before the returning melody in a lush recap of the opening theme.
