Medium swing. Written for Mats Garberg, tenor soloist with the Norrbotten Big Band (hence the name), Garlicks is a joyous, quirky romp featuring wild tenor the entire way. The soloist plays a cadenza to start the piece, states the theme and then blows over two different grooves. Interesting lines and ensemble parts for the entire band.
