This hard swinging, shuffle blues was commissioned by a consortium of directors from the American Band College. The chart features a funky melody, trumpet section soli and a roaring shout chorus with a big ending. Solo changes are included on all parts. The piano part includes suggested voicings and the bass part is written out with chords cued. This chart provides a great way to highlight your trumpet section and is ideal for concert or festival performances. Top lead trumpet note is a written F for the last note only, otherwise the highest note is a wirtten D' top lead trombone note is a Bb for the last note only otherwise the highest note is a G.
