This is a slow swing composition in Bb major written for an eleven-piece ensemble. The instrumentation also includes alto, tenor, and baritone saxopones, two trumpets, trombone, guitar, piano, acoustic base, drums and opt'l vibes. In a group of this size, individual performers are exposed and it becomes easier for the composer to highlight each individual musician in the band. Lead Trpt to high B. Trpt range: top lead trpt. note is a concert C, two octaves above middle C.
