Lennie Niehaus

No Pain, No Gain

Professional composer Lennie Lenny Niehaus continues to provide top quality material to satisfy big band jazz fans. For years he has written great charts for jazz ensembles of all ability levels, and this work for advancing groups is no exception. Melodic and rhythmic integrity, along with interesting chord changes, make this a wise choice for your next program. An open section is included and solo sheets are provided with notated choruses. Strongly orchestrated from start to finish, this tuneful original has a roaring shout chorus plus an introduction and ending that add continuity to the chart. A guitar chord chart by Jim Greeson is included. Duration ca. 4:00.
