Descripción de la:
(Oxford St. Blues or OverSeas Blues, take your pick, Ian will explain it when he sees you!!!) A Jazz Messengers kind of head, (and feel). Great finale for the soloists and an interesting 'half-time-rhythm section less-shout' for the band! Lots of space for solos and some exciting BGs and ensemble work. Sax doubles. Part 3 on 'No Passport Required' suite. Original Suite composed for trumpeter Kenny Wheeler and Ian McDougall and the BBC Big Band. Based on Ian's reminiscences of his time with the Johnny Dankworth Band in the early '60's (kind of a jazz duo concerto - can be played by any two solo instruments.
