Medium Swing tribute to Rob McConnell utilizing some of his techniques. Opening features unison trumpets (flugels). Second chorus is an ensemble chorus where the rhythm section drops out. This is followed by solo trombone with piano (or guitar) only (bass joins in halfway through.) Full band backqround for second trombone chorus. Shout chorus and then final out chorus. The challenge to this piece is balance and intonation. Highest trumpet note is concert Bb.(High C).5/4/4/P/B/D. Medium Difficult.
