Jazz Big Band Arrangement. Full Score, 2 Alto Saxophones, 2 Tenor Saxophones, Baritone Saxophone, 4 Trumpets, 3 Trombones, Vibraphone, Piano, Bass, Drums, Optional Bb Soloist, Optional Eb Soloist
This arrangement was written by Al Cohn for the Terry Gibbs Dream Band and recorded at the Summit Club in 1961. Though the recording featured a solo by Terry Gibbs on vibraphone, you may also feature a piano solo or use a guest soloist. The written vibe part is cued in the piano and optional solo parts so it may be excluded in the event that you don't have a vibraphonist. Also featured are solos for alto saxophone and trumpet. This has been edited and engraved from the original parts as obtained and licensed from Terry Gibbs and Al Cohn's family.
