The Clincher features an ostinato bass line that sets up an ascending arpeggio in the melody which winds its way back down and repeats the figure again creating an 8 bar phrase. AABA form. Trumpet range does have a 4 measure 8va section to F# above the top line. This section can be taken down an octave without hurting the arrangement. Trombone goes to high Ab.
