Louie Prima was totally cool. He played these awesome shuffle grooves in his band, and this chart is in tribute to the great sense of fun his music had.The saxes (featuring clarinet lead) pave the way through out the chart while the brass weigh in with hits and punches, with the rhythm section swinging away hard. After the open solo section (your pick of your best soloist - Sam Butera would be nice) the band is divided into small groups that trade sassy phrases leading to a sax soli. A rousing shout leads to a final key change as we take it home. 5 Saxes (Alto 1 on Clarinet), 4 Trumpets, (Tpt 1 high=High A, optional), 4 Trombone (Trb 4=Bass Trb), Guitar, Paino, Bass, Drum. Medium Difficult.
