A quite different (unusual) and interesting structure on this tune. The first 'A' section is 26 bars long (2 x's 13!), consisting of mostly melodic figures for the first 7 bars and '2' for 5 bars and a 1 bar break. The 'B' section is 28 bars. It's configuration is 6 bars in '4', 3 bars of offbeat pushes in '2' (melodic), a whole note for 1 bar, a 16 bar latin vamp, in bar 27 and bar 28 is a break!! I told you it was interesting! Horace's tempo is a half note = 100 approx. but we play it slight faster. The jazz chorus's are '4' for 6 bars and '2' for 7 bars repeated and then the rest as the 'head' (more or less!).
