Thicker Than Water

High energy composition written for 2 big bands, minus percussion.(Each big band consists of 4 trumpets, 4 bones and 5 saxes. Piano and bass can be doubled if desired) This unique and exciting piece is orchestrated in an up-tempo accapella chorale setting over piano/bass ostenato, with back and forth trading between the various sections and spectacular 8-trumpet cascades as it builds constantly towards a dramatic close. Listen to the stunning recording by the Ryan Haines Big band. Recorded by Ryan Haines Big Band on 'New Horizons' on Sea Breeze Jazz.
