The Bride of the Moor is a new monodrama for soprano and piano by Thomas Pasatieri, celebrated composer of many operas that have become standard repertoire. Following THE DAUGHTER OF CAPULET and LADY MACBETH, Pasatieri has created a 19-minute theatrical work based on the monologues of Desdemona from Shakespeare's 'Othello.'
