Descripción de la:
Sniff a little Berlin air, fire up the organ-organ and off we go to the Metropol Theater: to a round dance of igniting melodies by Paul Lincke, who enraptured Berliners from the beginning of the 20th century until the "Golden Twenties" and soon conquered the French metropolis with his couplets and popular songs in the famous Folies Bergère. Whether fireflies or Luna waltzes - the whole of Berlin (and Paris) whistled or sang the snappy songs almost ad nauseam. The "hits" from the pen of the operetta king are countless: The Lincke cocktail mixes a few of the catchy tunes into an easily digestible potpourri. The instrumentation concept guarantees great flexibility: the basis is a string quartet arrangement, i.e. for the cocktail you need the classical instrumentation with two violins, viola and violoncello - the work sounds nice! However, depending on availability, other instruments can be added ad libitum in any number and combination: double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn. Whether as a pure string quartet or as a decet, whether as a quartet extended by flute and clarinet or other instruments: The Lincke cocktail offers all players a rewarding task and guarantees enjoyable music-making!
