Union Square is a work for String Quartet by renowned German composer and pianist Hauschka. This piece appears on his 2010 album 'Foreign Landscapes', and lasts around 4 and a half minutes. This is the Set of Parts, featuring Violin I, Violin II, Viola and Cello. Union Square represents a departure from Hauschka's prepared Piano works for which he is best known. This work is an exciting one, featuring an intricate interplay of the String Quartet instruments that also come together to form an enjoyable piece to play. Union Square was first performed on the 23rd of March 2010 at the Swedish American Hall, San Francisco, by the Magik Magik Orchestra.
