The first and third of the Three Little Waltzes are short pieces (less than a minute each) using much earlier Dorff works as a basis, wrapped around a five-minute 2nd movement. The central section weaves fragments in and out again, teasing but not revealing the full theme until the grand finale. Three Little Waltzes is included in the Shannon Scott/Leonard Garrison recording Perennials (Albany TROY1404). For advanced performers.
