Written with the sense of humor characteristic of Paul Hindemith's (1895-1963) works from the 1920's, KLEINE KAMMERMUSIK, Op. 24, No. 2 (1922) is a relatively brief five-movement wind quintet. It premiered on June 13, 1922, at the Rheinisches Kammermusikfest in Köln by the Bläser-Kammermusikvereinigung Frankfurt. Movements: 1. Lustig. Mäßig schnell Viertel; 2. Walzer. Durchweg sehr leise; 3. Ruhig und einfach; 4. Schnelle Viertel; 5. Sehr lebhaft.
