This beautiful ballad is one of the most famous songs in the history of jazz. It was performed for the first time on the legendary Cotton Club in New York in 1933 by Ethel Waters. Since then, it has been used as a movie soundtrack in 1943. Almost every famous jazz musician have performed- or recorded the song from the 30's to our time.
