Descripción de la:
The Trio in G minor op. 63 for piano, flute and violoncello, published in 1820, is one of the few chamber music works by Carl Maria von Weber. In the finale one finds some echoes from Weber's probably most famous work, the 'Freischütz'. This is hardly surprising, since Weber wrote the trio at the same time as he was working on the 'Freischütz'. The diabolic trill motif from Caspar's Trinklied (finale bar 7/8) or the double beat motif from the chorus 'Laßt lustig die Hörner erschallen' (finale bar 49/50) should be mentioned here. The autograph was not accessible until now and is evaluated in this edition for the first time. This has made it possible to clarify and correct some doubtful passages in the text.
