Descripción de la:
Swing Low, Sweet Chariot is arguably the best known Negro spiritual in the world; famous as a worship song, a sports anthem, and a popular melody. It was arranged for unaccompanied Male Voice Choir (TTBB) andBaritone solo, with Piano reduction for rehearsal purposes, in 1932.
Sir Granville Bantock (1868-1946) was a British composer, conductor and educator. He channelled his energetic and creative personality into manymusical projects, championing the works of Jean Sibelius, founding the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, and composing many splendid classical pieces. Viewed by his contemporaries as out-of-date, his music is nowbeingappreciated as one of the last great contributions from the English Romantic movement.
