Maranatha

Maranatha, published by Musikverlag Hayo, is a magnificent choral edition tailored for ambitious vocal ensembles seeking depth and expressive power in sacred music. Scored for eight-part mixed choir (SSAATTBB a cappella), this work brings together three moving liturgical highlights of the church year: the festive Christmas Introit "Puer Natus est", the evocative Advent processional hymn "Maranatha!" based on "Veni Emmanuel", and the atmospheric Pentecost Introit "Veni". The rich, eight-part polyphony creates a meditative yet majestic soundscape that fills sacred spaces with profound harmonies. Whether performed in festive church services or as a centerpiece in sacred concerts, this choral score offers experienced choirs a truly rewarding musical repertoire.
