Note that the piece calls for Tenor solo as much asSoprano. Twentieth century musician Arthur Oldham was a composer, mainly, of Choral works and works for the ballet and stage. He was also a celebrated and award-winning choirmaster who founded the Edinburgh Festival Chorus, thechoir of the Orchestre de Paris and the Chorus of the Concertgebouw Orchestra and won Grammy awards with the London Symphony Chorus.
