Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

Uses: General, Lent, Service Music

Scripture:Psalm 119:18; Hebrews 12:2

Two great songs of devotion from two different times show the unison of purpose found in our mutual song of faith. A contemporarypraise chorus, Open Our Eyes, Lord, offers an intimate prayer of contrition while the time-honored gospel hymn, Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus, invites the faithful to focus on the Savior. The arrangement is carefullyprepared and the piano part decorates the vocal writing with lovely passages of gentle beauty. A final a cappella moment brings a sense of deep peace to this special octavo. Available separately: SATB, LiteTrax CD. Duration: ca. 3:28.
