will have gone is the commissioned work of the Austrian Choral Society for the National Youth Choir 2021.
The first part lists those animals and natural phenomena that will be gone. After that, the moon looks at everything that remains, also at the man who is so intrinsically great himself, who still has not given up his fight, but falls more and more into despair about it.
The epilogue is the bitter realization of why man will also be gone.
This is a statement for choirs - and a gripping piece of music whose powerful text comes more profoundly alive through a solo speaker.
