The duos are excellent for practicing ensemble playing, especially since both voices lead and accompany alternately, 'dédiés aux Amateurs'.

Composed in 1954 for the Louisville Philharmonic Society, this concerto is one of Müller's most important works. Late Romantic echoes facilitate access to Müller's distinctive tonal language.

Thanks to their didactic design, the duets have remained popular to this day. They are excellently suited for practicing ensemble playing, especially since both voices lead and accompany alternately.
