The songs in this collection of duets and trios are intended for young double bass players and can be played at home, at an audition or in a concert using a compact disc player.
The educational purpose of the collection is to familiarise the pupil with ensemble playing and to work on rhythmic precision and playing in tune.
The words to each song can be found with the double bass no2 solo.
Very young players may need help in manipulating the CD (tracks and volume).

How to use
The first track is for listening. The eleven pieces follow each other in succession.
Tracks 2 to 5 are to help pupils tune the double bass.
The CD symbol preceding each part indicates the listening or play-back track with one voice missing so the pupil can play with an accompaniment. There is a two-bar count-in to enable the pupil to pick up the tempo immediately.
