Descripción de la:
Nugiriili was written in 2008 by FANG Dongqing, one of the most active contemporary Chinese composers. In 2008 he composed "Nugiriili" for cello trio. The arrangement for 9 cellos was made at the request of NA Mula, professor at the Central Conservatory in Beijing for David Geringas, one of the most famous cellists in the world. The composition was inspired by a traditional melody of the Erwenki, an ethnic minority in China. The Ervenki tribe is known for its centuries-old tradition of song and dance. The songs of the Erwenki are very poetic, delicate and melodious, while the dances reflect the opposite. The dances show the passionate moments of life, are often bold and uninhibited and inspire people sustainably. The composer deliberately recorded the rhythm of the strong "stomping" in the Erwenki folk dance. The work consists of four parts, which illustrate impressions of the work and everyday life of the Erwenki. The Hoomii-style "Morning Song" opens the composition, followed by a witty, dynamically and rhythmically plucked "Work Song". The "Pastoral Song" introduces the evening, which ends with a passionate and great "Stamping Song". It is one of the most frequently performed contemporary Chinese cello ensemble works.
