Descripción de la:
This school for older children, adolescents and adults breaks new ground and offers beginners and returners a compact, one-volume schoolbook for the alto recorder. It deliberately avoids overly childish illustrations and the usual folk and children's songs. The focus is on a solid development of technique and musicality: with appealing pieces from historical schools of the 17th and 18th centuries, beautiful duets from the Baroque and Renaissance periods, as well as specific exercises on technique and the development of new fingerings. Short informative texts on the care and construction of the instrument, on musical forms and technical terms, on ornaments and historical playing techniques round off the course. Piano accompaniments are provided for many pieces in the separately available piano part. A stylish and tasteful introduction to the world of the alto recorder.
