This teaching work, developed from many years of practice, is both recorder school and elementary music teaching for children from the age of 5. It is designed for class lessons in elementary schools as well as group and individual lessons at music schools. With the help of relative solmization and rhythmic language, the imagination for melodic and rhythmic sequences as well as the understanding of musical notation is gradually developed. The creative handling of musical building blocks forms the basis for first improvisations and elementary composing. Singing, movement games, spoken verses and the use of Orff instruments create lively lessons. The teacher's manual provides concrete instructions in the form of lesson plans, a collection of musical game ideas and additional material for internal differentiation.
