Descripción de la:
Die Fledermaus (The bat) is the world's most frequently performed operetta and is the star among the so-called classic operettas. The heart of the operetta is the 2nd act in which the main actors find themselves incognito at Prince Orlofsky's masked ball. More or less inebriated, they all meet again in the famous final in order to enjoy life to the full, even if it is for one night only. Prince Orlofsky's masquerade makes it possible to extend the operetta by inviting a few additional artists to perform at the ball. The piccolo part for the 1st flute in movements IV and VI can be performed by the concert flute using the alternative part provided.
