Two movements from Grieg's famous Holberg Suite. The Gavotte is a sprightly movement that is good for students and adults alike. It is a good companion piece to the Sarabande, which is a great selection for a contest piece for students. Because of the prevalence of low Bs in the original Sarabande, and alternate version in the key of B-flat Major is included, along with the original in G Major. Instrumentation: 4 C Flutes, Alto Flute (optional for Flute 4)
