Wilhelm Popp (1828-1903). In addition to his work as an orchestra musician, Popp was one of the most creative composers of flute music. His 525 works include numerous compositions of average value, but also many entertaining and instrument-specific works, for example, the four pieces presented here. Like many of his other compositions, they are based on the music or experience of foreign countries.
