Descripción de la:
Studying The Oboe is the perfect collection of studies for oboists who want to refine their technique. Written by Liang Wang, the principal oboist of the New York Philharmonic, the book is packed with useful exercises and tips designed to help players develop technical skills such as:
> Tone production
> Breath control
> Articulation
> Finger techniqueThe book is ideally suited for players of a good intermediate level and upwards. It includes famous classical themes and orchestral excerpts that encourage the oboist to use the skills developed in the exercises in a performance context.
Liang Wang has been the principle oboist of the New York Philharmonic since 2006. He has also held principle positions with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, the San Francisco City Ballet Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
