Rückert-Lieder' is a song cycle by Mahler (1860 - 1911) of five lieder (songs) originally for voice and orchesta or piano and based on poems written by Friedrich Rückert. This arrangement by Fred Hemke for alto saxophone and piano is of the third song, 'Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen (I am lost to the world).'
