This saxophone school lays the foundation for a solid technical and musical education. It is clearly structured, divided into lessons and is aimed at older children, teenagers and adults. What is special about the school is that the order of some lessons can be chosen individually. Thus, individual needs and wishes can be addressed directly .
In addition to pieces from the eras Renaissance to Romanticism, many pieces in popular styles are offered, which were composed to fit the respective musical and technical level. Variety is provided by tasks on improvising, varying and listening, as well as clapping duets and note puzzles. Brief information on works, composers and technical terms, tips on practicing and playing in complete the musical education. Numerous duets and tips for group lessons allow for use in lessons with several students. Motivating audio examples and playbacks for many pieces are available as a free mp3 download. Volume 1 of the school introduces the basics of saxophone playing and uses the notes from c' to c'''. Complementing the school, Playbook 1 contains many more pieces that are aligned with the methodical structure of the school. In addition to pieces for saxophone and piano, some pieces for saxophone ensemble are also included.
