We Haven't got any biographical information about Giuseppe Manna; we can indirectly infer his activity as an instrumentalist - active in the first half of the 19th century - through the publication of opera librettos with the names of the performers and the roles played in the orchestra. Giuseppe Manna is the first trombonist in various theatrical performances at the 'Teatro della Società' and 'Teatro Riccardi' in Bergamo, including Otello ossia L'Africano di Venezia (1821); La rosa bianca e la rosa rossa (1823); La gazza ladra (1824)(1); Torvaldo e Dorliska (1826); I Baccanali di Roma (Teatro Riccardi, 1827).
