Horn Quartet or Quintet
In the Mind's Eye is a concert piece inspired by visual art. Visual artists and composers have often been influenced by each other's work; James Beckel took inspiration from five paintings to compose In the Mind's Eye, employing musical effects that replicate various brush stroke techniques. Movement 1 - Random Abstract Movement 2 - Daniel in the Lion's Den Movement 3 - Reflections (Fifth Horn part is optional)
