Die fröhliche Trompete 2 Kombi-Pack

The Trumpet School by Michael Werner has meanwhile become a standard work for teaching young trumpet students. As a supplement to the two exercise books (Volume 1: ED 9931, Volume 2: ED 9932) and the two playbooks (Playbook 1: ED 9933, Playbook 2: ED 9934), Exercise Book 2 and Playbook 2 are now available in an advantageous combination package. The topics of the second school volume are: Extending the tonal range from g to f-sharp; further developing the components already learned; dynamics, articulation, tempo markings, composing variations, major/minor distinction, pure/harmonic/melodic minor, major and minor keys to 3 accidentals with scales and triads, enharmonic confusion and chromaticism. Playbook 2 contains a rich and varied selection of songs and pieces, mainly duets, some trios and quartets, but also many pieces for trumpet and piano. With works by Pezel, Schütz, Clarke, Altenburg, Handel, Mozart, Schubert, Fauré, Verdi, Joplin, and many other composers, the booklet is a treasure trove for student concerts and lessons.
