Trauer- und Passionsmusik

With "Trauer- und Passionsmusik" (Mourning and Passion Music), Edition Rinner presents a deeply moving and sonorous collection for brass trio. Specially arranged for three flugelhorns or Bb trumpets, these pieces perfectly capture the contemplative, comforting, and devotional atmosphere suitable for funeral services, memorials, and Lenten church events. The warm, mellow timbre of flugelhorns brings an exceptionally intimate character to the solemn melodies, while a performance with trumpets offers majestic, dignified accents. Published in practical playing scores, this edition facilitates seamless ensemble coordination and effortless handling in performance. An indispensable addition to the repertoire of any brass trio seeking expressive and dignified music for solemn occasions.
