Hunting Wabbits is Gordon Goodwin's homage to the composer Carl Stalling who is famous for composing the music to the Bugs Bunny movies.
This is very entertaining music with speed, excitement and quick changes of scenes. It is very important to be aware of the dynamics as contrasts are a big part of this music.
Some suggestions for rehearsals:
Use the metronome (especially in the start and end of the piece), also on tutti-rehersals. Keep the dynamics low and amplify the metronome if necessary so that all musicians can hear the pulse.
