Billy Joel

Leningrad

Leningrad is widely regarded as one of the most moving and timeless ballads in pop music history. Billy Joel found the inspiration for this global hit in 1987 during a historic six-concert tour of the Soviet Union, making him one of the first major American rock artists to perform behind the Iron Curtain. The song tells a deeply touching story of mutual understanding and human connection. In this rich and expressive arrangement for brass band from De Haske Publications, the emotional masterpiece unfolds its full orchestral power. Warm brass colors and soaring melodies guarantee goosebumps for both performers and audience alike. Whether featured as a centerpiece in your concert program or as a poignant encore, this complete set of score and parts offers an unforgettable musical experience.
