Varsog' is a poem by Hans Hyldbakk, written in april 1945. The poem was written at the end of World War II, and it is said that 'spring' (the English word for 'var') is a kind of a metaphor for the liberation. In that way, the poem should be a tribute to peace.
Norwegian musician and composer; Henning Sommero wrote music to the poem and included the song on the 1977 debut album of his group 'Varsog'.'
