Saxy Cat Blues

Get out the sunglasses and move your alto sax 'cats' center stage for this unique audience pleaser! Written in 6/8 meter with a tempo indication marked 'bluesy in 2,' this light concert selection will give you plenty of room to maneuver the tempo to suit your band. You'll enjoy seeing your second year players loosen up and play something 'just for fun.' Lots of easy-to-play rhythmic punches and repeated motifs make it a breeze to rehearse. A fantastic piece that practically plays itself! (Grade 1)
