The 'Hungarian Dances' (Ungarische Tänze), evoking directly the warm blood of Hungarian gypsy music, consist of 21 dances, originally composed for piano four hands. Perhaps less familiar than the famous Ungarischer 'Tanz No. 5' , 'Tanz No. 6' became very popular as well. This dance is now transcribed for Symphonic Band by Argentinean arranger Miguel Etchegoncelay.
