Joshua Reznicow

Darkened Shadows

Designed for grade 4+ groups, this is a great piece for any ensemble looking for an intense melodic theme. Reminiscent of a Hollywood movie soundtrack, the piece utilizes simple but fun 16th-note double-stop passages, strong melodic material for the lower strings, and a beautifully haunting middle section. This piece will capture the imagination of your students while giving the director several possibilities for technical and musical instruction. Each set includes three copies of the 3rd Violin/Viola T.C. part. Duration ca. 5:45. Available in SmartMusic.
