A patriotic medley that opens with the George M. Cohan You're a Grand Old Flag, then proceeds to the theme of each branch of our armed forces. The piece ends optionally with the National Anthem.

The flutes alone introduce the main theme, which sounds very much like a medieval hymn. The other instruments layer on, and Yozviak builds his dance to a satisfying conclusion.

The percussion section introduces and drives this piece along. Images of knights on mighty steeds infuse the narrative, as the winds play long, lyric passages punctuated by contrasting elements.
